Meeting of Consul General A. Sidoruk with the Business Association of Vinh Long province

During the visit to Vinh Long province, Consul General of Belarus A. Sidoruk held a meeting with representatives of the Business Association of Vinh Long province.

Business Association of Vinh Long province unites approximately 1000 enterprises engaged in the processing of coconut products, agriculture, trade and the supply of agricultural machinery.

During the meeting, Consul General presented trade and economic potential of Belarus and outlined promising areas for cooperation with the business community of the province.

Particular attention was paid to the prospects for developing cooperation in the supply of machinery products for the agricultural needs, as well as the supply of coconut oil for the food and cosmetic industry of Belarus.

The representatives of the Association expressed interest in exploring the opportunities of the Belarusian market and establishing direct contacts with Belarusian enterprises, including visits to exhibitions with participation of Belarusian companies in Vietnam.

During the meeting, Vietnamese side noted that the trade, economic, and industrial potential of Belarus is not sufficiently known among business community of the province. Therefore, this presentation helped, to a certain extent, to fill in the gap. In this regard, an agreement was reached to continue providing information on Belarusian industrial and export opportunities through the communication channels of the Association with enterprises of the province.
