Meeting with the Rector of the PetroVietnam University

On May 20, 2025, a meeting between Palina Karpava, Vice-Consul of the Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus in Ho Chi Minh City, and Phan Minh Quoc Binh, Rector of the Vietnam Oil and Gas University (PVU) was held.

Vice-Rector Lu Quoc Phong, Deans of the Faculties of Petroleum Engineering, Fundamental and Natural Sciences, representatives of the University's External Relations Department also participated in the negotiations.

During the meeting, the parties emphasized the importance of developing cooperation between universities, including students mobility and teaching staff exchanges between PVU and leading Belarusian technical universities.

The meeting also included a video conference with Gomel State Technical University. Rector Arthur Pustiata, Vice Rector for Education and Instruction Grigoriy Petrishin, Deans of the Faculties, representatives of the international relations department participated from Belarusian side.

During negotiations parties presented scientific and technical potential of universities, discussed the main areas of cooperation, including holding scientific conferences, studies of Belarusian  and Vietnamese students in master’s and PHD's programs.

Belarusian side emphasized the readiness of the university to provide training of foreign specialists and professors with the opportunity to visit the fuel and energy complex enterprises of Gomel region.

At the end of the conference with the assistance of the General Consulate the Cooperation Agreement between Gomel State Technical University and Vietnam Oil and Gas University was signed.
