On participation in the events of delegation of the Ministry of Emergency Situations visit to Ho Chi Min

On August 15, as part of the delegation of the Ministry of Emergency Situations visit to Ho Chi Minh, Vice-Consul of the Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus Palina Karpava took part in a meeting of the delegation with the Deputy Head of the Police Department of Fire Safety and Rescue of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam. Parties discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of training specialists, as well as exchanging experience to improve efficiency of responding to emergencies and citizens' appeals.

On the same day, a meeting with the Deputy Director of the Public Security Department of Ho Chi Minh was held. Parties emphasized their mutual interest and expressed their readiness to develop cooperation in the field of fire safety.

As part of the visit, the delegation visited Ho Chi Minh City fire department, where they got acquainted with the latest models of fire-fighting equipment used in Vietnam.

The visit demonstrated the desire to further strengthen mutually beneficial partnership in fire safety and rescue, develop institutional ties and exchange experience between Belarus and Vietnam in order to improve readiness for emergency situations.
