Awarding the participants of the IX Open International Children's Drawing Competition

On May 30, 2025, on the eve of World Children's Day, Vice-Consul of the Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus in Ho Chi Minh Palina Karpava handed over diplomas to the young Vietnamese winners of the IX Open International Children's Drawing Competition “Children are Friends on the Planet”. The ceremony was attended by young winners from schools and kindergartens of the city, their parents and teachers.

The Open International Children's Drawing Competition “Children are on the Planet Friends ” is organized annually by the National Center for Children's and Youth Art with the assistance of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus. In 2024, the event was held for the 9th time, with participants from 27 countries submitting more than 10,000 pictures.

In welcoming speech to the participants of the event, the Vice Consul of the Consulate General noted that the creativity of children from Belarus and Vietnam demonstrates how, despite differences and geographical distance, our peoples are united by a common understanding of such universal values as peace, kindness and friendship, and that such activities play an important role in the development of Belarusian-Vietnamese humanitarian cooperation.
