On the meeting with Director of the Vietnam News Agency’s southern branch

Vice-Consul of the Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus in Ho Chi Minh City Palina Karpava held a meeting with the Director of the Vietnam News Agency’s southern branch Nguyen Quoc Tuan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed information exchange between Belarus and Vietnam. Particular attention was paid to the development of channels for transmitting information about traditions, cultural heritage and economic potential of the two countries.

Belarusian side outlined the key areas of work of the Consulate General to strengthen bilateral ties and promote information about Belarus in Vietnam.

Vietnamese side expressed interest in developing cooperation, including visit of journalists to Belarus to exchange professional experience, as well as covering the current agenda of bilateral relations in the media.

It was noted that such initiatives contribute to further strengthening friendly ties between Belarus and Vietnam, increasing the recognition of both countries.
