On the Meeting with Management of Saigontourist Group

On July 1, a meeting between Palina Karpava, Vice-Consul of the Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus in Ho Chi Minh City, and Vo An Tai, Deputy General Director of the Saigontourist Group was held.

Saigontourist Group is one of the largest tourism associations in Vietnam, founded in 1975. It comprises more than 130 travel companies and over 50 hotels across the country. The group also trains specialists for the tourism industry through its own educational institution.

During the meeting, information about the tourism potential of Belarus and the associations of national tour operators was presented. Special attention was given to promoting Belarus as a new and promising destination in the Vietnamese tourism market.

The topic of increasing mutual tourist flows drew particular interest. Vo An Tai emphasized, “Doors between our countries are open, and the development of tourism can become a bridge that brings the cultures of Belarus and Vietnam closer together.”

The Vietnamese side expressed readiness for active cooperation, highlighting the desire to expand partnership in the tourism sector and enhance the countries recognition among tourists.
