Webinar between Belarusian Tour Operators and the Hue Tourism Association

On June 22, with the support of the Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus in Ho Chi Minh City, a webinar for representatives of the tourism sectors of the Republic of Belarus and Hue City was held.

National Tourism Agency of the Republic of Belarus and Belarusian tour operators took part from the Belarusian side. The Vietnamese side included the Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Hue City, the Chairman of the Hue City Tourism Association and representatives of the city’s tourism companies.

The Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Ho Chi Minh City, Alexander Sidoruk, delivered welcoming remarks to the participants. He emphasized the importance of developing Belarusian-Vietnamese cooperation in tourism and expanding direct contacts between representatives of the tourism industries of the two countries.

During the webinar, the parties illuminated the rich tourism potential of the Republic of Belarus and the city of Hue, deliberated on promising avenues of interaction between their respective tourism organizations, and exchanged invaluable expertise on the promotion of tourism services in international markets.

Special attention was paid to the joint initiatives, participation in international tourism exhibitions, and the mutual promotion of the touristic allure of the Republic of Belarus and the city of Hue to the citizens of both countries.

The webinar contributed to the establishment of new contacts between representatives of the tourism businesses of Belarus and Vietnam and to the further development of bilateral cooperation in the tourism sector.
