Consul General Ruslan Varankou takes part in VietStock 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City

On 9 October 2024 the Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Ho Chi Minh City, Ruslan Varankou, took part in the opening ceremony of the international exhibition and forum “VietStock 2024”, which is held from October 9 to 11 in Ho Chi Minh City.
The event was also attended by representatives of the Embassy of Belarus in Vietnam, the Belarusian state association for breeding livestock “Belplemzhivobedinenie” and the agricultural enterprise for breeding “Minsk Breeding Enterprise”.
The international exhibition and forum “VietStock Expo & Forum” is the largest specialized event in Vietnam in the fields of animal husbandry, veterinary medicine, seafood and meat processing. It is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam. The event program also includes specialized exhibitions “Aquaculture” and “Food Ingredients” (animal feed), as well as specialized seminars.
In 2024, 400 exhibitors from more than 50 countries and territories of the world will take part in the event. According to the organizers, over 13,000 industry experts, representatives of government agencies, supplier enterprises and farmers will visit the event over three days.
On the sidelines of the event, the Consul General Ruslan Varankou had meeting with Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam, Phung Duc Tien.
The representatives of the Embassy of Belarus in Vietnam and the enterprises “Belplemzhivobedinenie” and “Minsk Breeding Enterprise” held meetings with a number of specialized Vietnamese companies and discussed issues of developing Belarusian-Vietnamese cooperation in the field of livestock breeding, as well as planned bilateral events for the near future.
