Consul General of Belarus Ruslan Varankou meets the Chairman of Saigon Newport Corporation

On December 13, 2024, the Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr Ruslan Varankou, held a meeting with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saigon Newport Corporation, Mr Nguyen Nang Toan.
Saigon Newport Corporation is a leading Vietnamese port operator and logistics service provider. The company's structure includes 16 terminals, 6 inland container depots and 29 subsidiaries distributed throughout Vietnam. According to estimates, SNP holds more than 90% of the container shipping market in southern Vietnam and 56% of the national market.
During the meeting, Ruslan Varankou and Nguyen Nang Toan exchanged views on promising areas of Belarusian-Vietnamese cooperation in logistics sector.
The parties paid special attention to the issue of strengthening and developing trade and economic ties between companies from Belarus and enterprises in the south of Vietnam, including within the framework of forming partnerships between relevant industry entities.
