On the meeting with the Deputy Chairman of the Union of Friendship Organizations of Ho Chi Minh City

On July 17, 2025 the meeting between the Vice-Consul of the Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus in Ho Chi Minh City Palina Karpava and the Deputy Chairman — Secretary General Mr Ho Xuan Lam was held.

During the meeting, the main areas of Belarusian-Vietnamese cooperation in trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres were discussed, including participation of Belarusian diaspora in Vietnam.

The parties exchanged views on promising formats of bilateral cooperation.

Mr Ho Xuan Lam informed about the activities of the Union and presented plans for organizing cultural events in the near and medium term.

The parties confirmed their mutual interest in deepening bilateral cooperation, noted the potential of projects in the field of tourism and culture. Among the priority areas are the organization of days of Belarusian culture in Ho Chi Minh City and visits of Vietnamese graduates of Belarusian universities to Minsk.
