Consul General met with Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City Women’s Union

On October 7, Consul General of Belarus in Ho Chi Minh City Mr. Alexander Sidoruk held a meeting with Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Xuan, Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City Women’s Union, during which perspectives of further Belarus–Vietnam interaction between women’s organizations of Minsk and Ho Chi Minh City were discussed.

Particular attention was paid to the development of practical cooperation, primarily in the trade and economic sphere. The sides discussed the visit of the Ho Chi Minh City Women’s Union delegation to Minsk in September 2026, as well as opportunities to further expand contacts between women entrepreneurs from the two cities.

Parties agreed to organize online events with the participation of women entrepreneurs from Ho Chi Minh City and Minsk, and to make a presentation of Belarus's trade and economic potential for women entrepreneurs from Ho Chi Minh City in the nearest future.
