Seminar on Trade and Investment Promotion between Belarus and Vietnam takes part in HCMC

On March 19, 2024, the Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus in Ho Chi Minh City, together with the Ho Chi Minh City Investment and Trade Promotion Center and the National Centre for Marketing and Price Study, held a Seminar on Promotion of Investment and Trade between Belarus and Vietnam via videoconference.
More than 50 representatives of Vietnamese businesses took part in the event.
Delivering their speeches, the speakers provided detailed information on the export potential of the Republic of Belarus, opportunities and tools for establishing trade, economic and investment ties between Belarusian and Vietnamese entrepreneurs, including using the mechanisms of the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange.
The representative of the Consulate General noted that Vietnam is one of Belarus' priority partners in Southeast Asia, and drew attention to the mutual desire to take cooperation to a new level by creating joint ventures in high-tech production, as well as the need to encourage businesses to participate in trade exhibitions in our countries to establish direct interaction.
Background information. The event was organized as part of the activity to strengthen and expand trade and economic ties between Belarus and Vietnam in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding between the NCM and ITPC.
