First Deputy Chariperson Nadzeya Lazarevich takes part in the Mayors Conference of the Friendship Dialogue in HCMC

As part of her visit to Ho Chi Minh City, the First Deputy Chairperson of the Minsk City Executive Committee Mrs Nadzeya Lazarevich took part in the Mayors Conference of the Friendship Dialogue.

In her speech, Nadzeya Lazarevich turned to the history of friendship between the cities of Minsk and Ho Chi Minh City, noting that strong sister-city ties between the capitals of Belarus and Vietnam, based on deep mutually beneficial cooperation, were established in 2004. The official confirmation of the status of sister cities was carried out with the signing of the Agreement on friendly relations and cooperation between the cities of Ho Chi Minh City and Minsk 4 years later, in 2008.

The head of the Belarusian delegation acquainted the forum participants with the instruments for the development and support of innovative manufacturing enterprises operating in Minsk, methods for stimulating the implementation of investment projects, and forms of financial and property support for businesses.

Emphasizing the special importance of information support for businesses in our time, Nadzeya Lazarevich cited as an example the information resource “Minsk Business Portal” of the official website of the Minsk City Executive Committee, which is accessible to citizens and business entities. The website regularly updates issues of development and support for entrepreneurship, and provides the opportunity for citizens and business entities to remotely seek advice and relevant reference information.

Concluding her speech, Nadzeya Lazarevich noted Minsk's interest in partnership and readiness to provide preferential investment regimes for further business development.
