Meeting of Consul General of Belarus A. Sidoruk and the Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union

On June 3, 2026, Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Alexander Sidoruk met with Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Xuan, Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed prospects for cooperation between the Minsk city organization of the public association “Belarusian Union of Women” and the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union within the framework
of the Cooperation Programme for the 2024–2029 period.

Particular attention was paid to direct contacts between the Women's Unions of Ho Chi Minh City and Minsk. The Vietnamese side reaffirmed its commitment to advancing cooperation with Belarusian partners and proposed to organize a visit of delegation from the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union
to Minsk in September 2026.

Parties also discussed organization of regular online meetings to exchange experience, discuss and implement joint cultural and humanitarian projects, as well as hosting online events for women-entrepreneurs from Belarus and Vietnam.

In conclusion the sides agreed to further develop cooperation between the Women's Unions of Minsk and Ho Chi Minh City, including organization of a videoconference between their leadership to outline a roadmap for the short- and medium-term perspective.
