Consul General of Belarus Ruslan Varankou meets the Phụ Nữ Newspaper Editor-in-chief

On October 30, 2024, the Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr Ruslan Varankou, held a meeting with the Editor-in-chief of the newspaper “Phụ Nữ” (“Women's Newspaper”), Deputy Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City Association of Journalists, Mrs Ly Viet Trung.

The meeting was also attended by the heads of all units of the newspaper's editorial office.

During the conversation, Ruslan Varankou and Ly Viet Trung discussed the development of cooperation between specialized media and a promising schedule of events for organising their coverage.

The interlocutors expressed an unanimous opinion that the women's dimension is one of the mainstreams in Belarusian-Vietnamese relations, regular contacts and visits exchanges between regional and national women's unions of the two countries are its evidence.

A special attention was paid to the issue of establishing joint work to cover Belarusian and Vietnamese topics within the information field of the two countries in order to promote rapprochement and deeper mutual understanding between the peoples of Belarus and Vietnam.
