Consul General A. Sidoruk held meetings with Khanh Hoa Business Community, Provincial Departments and Local Authorities

During the official visit of Consul General A. Sidoruk of Republic of Belarus to Khanh Hoa province on May 21, a meeting with the local business community was held, featuring a presentation on the socio-economic and trade potential of the Republic of Belarus.

The event was attended by the leadership of the provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center, the Tourism Association, the Young Entrepreneurs Association, the provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association, as well as representatives of leading enterprises operating in the fields of agriculture, food industry, and tourism business.

During the meeting, a presentation was delivered on the economic and trade potential of the Republic of Belarus and the most significant aspects of bilateral cooperation between Belarus and Vietnam. Particular attention was paid to increasing supplies of agricultural machinery and commercial vehicles to Khanh Hoa province, as well as promoting the import of tropical fruits and seafood to the Belarusian market.

The Belarusian side also emphasized the importance of organizing visits by business delegations from Khanh Hoa province to various regions of Belarus for the purpose of holding Belarus–Vietnam Business Forums, as well as gaining deeper insight into the country’s economic and trade potential.

Particular attention was paid to logistics and the transit of Belarusian and Vietnamese goods through Cam Ranh International Airport, alongside boosting tourism flows expected from the newly launched direct flights between Belarus and Khanh Hoa.

Within the framework of the working visit, the Consul General held meetings and working sessions with the leadership of the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Department of Health under the Provincial People’s Committee, and the leadership of the Provincial Police.

During the meeting, the parties discussed coordination in consular procedures, including mechanisms for providing consular protection and legal assistance to citizens of the Republic of Belarus. The parties also agreed on coordination mechanisms between the leadership of the relevant provincial departments and the Consulate General in cases involving Belarusian citizens encountering emergency situations in connection with the increasing tourist flow to Khanh Hoa province.
